".... степь, да степь кругом ...."
Со Звягинцевым знаком по "Возвращению", смотренному года 4 назад и уже, после нескольких минут "Изгнания", чувствуется почерк художника. Прежде всего - это краски: насыщенные тона неба, зелени, яркая "серость" забытых старых вещей. Так же, завязка сюжета в семейной драме. Не так много фильмов, на данную тему, держат меня в напряжении во время созерцания, этот был приятным исключением. Если смотреть на творчество, как отражение действительности ... Интересно, а какая семья у самого режиссера?
Герои выбраны немного не от мира сего. Интроверты в самых последних и запущенных стадиях. И сила работы заключается том, чтоб раскрыть мир людей, живущих в себе. По - моему , задача далеко не из самых простых и Звягинцев это сделал! Он заставил прочувствовать этот внутренних глухой мир, показал , что за грубой оболочкой тоже может жить нечто светлое и томиться переживания.
Остались открытым вопрос : где происходит действие ? Это явно не Россия ... но ездит русская скорая помощь. Нерусские имена , но русские лица :) Ваши соображения ?
Я был удивлен , узнав , что это всего лишь второй фильм за карьеру автора. Слишком уж все на уровне.

I am sorry for writing you in this barbar (yet beloved)) language, but i do not have i-net on my laptop anymore - only here, in the city library, on a comp. of common use, where (and it is no surprise) they do not have Russian-lettered keyboard.
ssso..although i did not watch the film itself, i am familiar to its plot (thanks to Wiki!) well...i must admit that the very reading of the plot was a breath-taking and heart-crushing experience!! and, as far as i can understand (maybe i am mistaken ), the moral which you can get from this work is that you should have deeper insight into events happening around and think twice before judging someone and then punishing him or her. would you agree with my vision of the idea?
.. sticking to your essay, i have a comment on your words about the characters and it is going to be pretty short. it is wrong to stick labels to people. Look, as it follows from your phrases: they are introverts =>> they are queer and out of this world - one can feel you negative attitude to such type of people..why is it so? you should develop you attitude to individuals you have direct contact with, you socialize with..then you have some basis to form your opinion.
and one more thing to be touched upon."за грубой оболочкой тоже может жить нечто светлое и томиться переживания" why тоже?? oO i.e. a man of rough appearance cannot have light and kind feelings within!? is it that rare or what?)) it sounds as if it were the verdict to everyone with грубой оболочкой!
